Today the Dutch Community celebrated the 70th Anniversary of the liberarion of the Netherlands in may of 1945 with a massive parade through downtown Toronto that included a Sherman ww2 sherman tank, many other WW2 war vehicles two busses with war veterans and war brides. The parade cocluded at Toronto nathan Phillips square where up to 15.000 people dresses in orange celebrated with entertainment,food, drinks and singing. Toronto has never seen such a sea of people in Orange before. A great event and congratulations to the organizing committee. Well done. Thank you liberators.
